Home Project Calculator Hub is a small static site for metric-first material estimates. The V1 calculators run in the browser after the page loads and use visible formulas for common paint, flooring, tile, concrete, gravel, soil, and mulch planning tasks.
Purpose
The site is intended as an early measuring and quantity-planning aid. It favours metric units, transparent assumptions, and simple browser-side calculations over supplier feeds or project management features.
What V1 Includes
- Paint calculator: Estimate rectangular-room wall area, paint litres, waste, whole containers, and optional container cost.
- Flooring calculator: Estimate flooring area across one or more rectangular zones, then round waste-adjusted area up to whole boxes.
- Tile calculator: Estimate floor or wall tile area, individual tiles, whole boxes, and optional box cost.
- Concrete calculator: Estimate concrete volume for slabs, footings, or cylindrical post holes, with optional bag rounding.
- Gravel, soil & mulch calculator: Estimate bulk material volume, tonnes from editable density, and optional litre-bag counts.
What It Does Not Do
- No accounts or saved projects.
- No server-side persistence of calculator inputs.
- No analytics, ads, affiliate links, supplier pricing feed, or third-party API lookup in V1.
- No engineering, structural, legal, installation, or supplier advice.
